Dr. Robert Bentley Opens New Dermatology Clinic in Hoover

Dr. Robert Bentley and staff of Dermatology Care of Alabama announce the opening of a new location in Hoover. Dermatology Care of Alabama, based in Tuscaloosa, is now accepting new patients at the Lake Crest Center location at 2321 John Hawkins Parkway, Suite 201, Hoover.

“We recognize there is an underserved need for dermatology treatment and diagnoses throughout the state,” Dr. Bentley said. “By expanding Dermatology Care of Alabama to the Hoover area we will be able to better serve more patients in the west Jefferson and east Tuscaloosa County region.”

Dermatology Care of Alabama opened in Tuscaloosa in 2017 and has quickly grown to serve the needs of thousands of patients from skin cancer diagnoses and treatment to cosmetic and aesthetic services. Dr. Bentley, a Board Certified Dermatologist of 40 years, will lead a team of experienced Dermatology providers in the Hoover location. The clinic is slated to open August 1, 2023.

Dermatology Care of Alabama employs approximately 40 full and part time staff, including four Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, a Physician’s Assistant, a Radiology Technician as well as Certified Dermatology Technicians and Licensed Medical Aestheticians.

In addition to serving patients in the Tuscaloosa and Hoover clinics, Dr. Bentley also leads the non-profit Great State Alabama, which provides free medical clinics for medically underserved populations across Alabama.
